Winter Travel Guidelines
You may take following measures and guidelines to enjoy the winter season properly.
Your vehicle may make trouble to start due to heavy snowfall. The brakes should work properly since the roads are slippery due to snow. It is suggested to check the vehicle thoroughly prior to leaving for any trip.
- Check you heating systems, Service the radiator and maintain antifreeze level
- You may face visibility problems due to winter season
- The skin may become dry so you should drink more water
- To avoid any snowstorm, it is better to check the weather forecast prior to leaving for any destination and check it repeatedly while traveling
- In case of air travel, you may face delay or cancellation of flight
- You should keep extra clothes like hats, coats, joggers, gloves, blankets, sleeping bags, etc.
- You must always carry a first aid kit and emergency items like a flashlight, scraper etc.
- It is suggested to stay in the vehicle if you are struck somewhere
- Keep yourself informed of your location and destination
- Book your stays in advance
- Keep your gadgets maintained, keep portable charger and extra batteries
- Keep food items like snacks and other items in case of emergency while traveling
