ATTABAD LAKE

Attabad lake is located in the Hunza Valley. The lake was formed in 2010 due to massive landslide occurred. The flow of the Hunza River was blocked, and the now-famous lake was created in its wake. Its bright-blue turquoise waters make the it one of the most beautiful places in Pakistan. The lake has got attention of tourists for its boating. jet-skiing, fishing and other recreational activities..

Attabad Lake
In the autumn season from September to November, it is cool with a temperature range of 10-20°C and colorful foliage. In the winter season from December to February, the temperature ranges from -10 to 5°C with snowfall and occasional freezing.

The best time to visit is from April to October when the weather is pleasant, and the Attabad Lake temperature ranges from 10°C to 25°C.
